I have dreamt a hundred nights, couple of them were the usual while too few have turned into nightmares. At some extent, I allowed the experience. Then at the bottom of the dark, while the moon lit the space, I was awakened. Everyone is struggling with their own nightmares, I know. And it is either you hate or embrace the horror it proposes. But the Supreme promises a peaceful dawn. The night is over. Be startled no more, you'd be fine.
For the longest time, the last day of the year never fail to excite me. It is not because of the fireworks nor because of the festive gaze at the dining table. It is somehow the anticipation for the great year ahead.

Hearing constructive criticisms from many people with reference to Korean drama has thrilled me to give it a shot. For the past few weeks, I was able to watch at least 3 drama series and 3 movies as well (not bad for such an enthusiast newbie like me) There are essentially 4 major factors that I noticed why Asian Drama is considered to be aphenomenalpunch in the market.
HISTORICAL and ETHNIC CORRELATION: Dramas were effectively outlined from past dynasties to pre-historic wars of Korea, portraying different classical characters. Profound remorse and bravery in every battle are being emphasized in each plot.
FAMILIAL BOND: Relationship among the members of the family is highly important in Korea. Respect to elders is evident in every series making then well known for their strong family bond. A special holiday is also an opportunity for them to recreate since most of the characters play a busy role in the society. Making their homes as part of the social system is part of the bigger concept.
COMEDY: Korean comical genre is famous for its vulgar use of words and trivial physical abuse. It will be traced back to its historical background since Korean wars created terrible scars to many, thus producing an adaptive behavior – comedy.
DRAMA/ ROMANCE: Korean drama will not be considered “Korean “without a love story involved. Their way of teasing its audience with superb drama to light comedy then eventually will run down to a cute love story or love triangle is truly wonderful.
Korean Drama is a complete package for me. The surprise I get in the middle or at the end of the story is something to be crazy about. I think it suits the needs of every fan since it has a wide collection of shows to choose from. Melodrama type is for those who really want to shed some tears while light comical romance would give you a light and nice feeling (kilig factor.) War movies are also worth a try – friendship and heroism are some of the values one could learn. Not to mention the wonderful soundtracks included in every movie/series - truly, I am hooked^^
I was again trapped in my genuine mood to write after so long. I don’t know maybe I was too busy thinking of Alvin’s sickness. Or maybe too I was frantic on what’s going to happen in a few months from now. Will I have the chance to plan for the future? Or will I just settle within my comfort zone? I don’t know. The answers are out of reach at this point in time. Concerning the anxiety which was wrapping me every time I try to bring to light the stance of tomorrow, I realized that it’s time for me to detoxify. I surfed the web and find several inspirational words which could possibly change my life or yours too.
“The best changes often start as a single, simple thought. Think big, and discover the ways to make your dreams real”.
“I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure: which is: Try to please everybody”
“Six essential qualities that are the key to success: Sincerity, personal integrity, humility, courtesy, wisdom, charity”.
I have always been awestruck by the achievements of entrepreneurs. Just admired people who made it big from rags to riches. And been in the situation where I fantasize of being successful too. Success however cannot be gauged by any social stratification nor can it be seen by the years of experience you rendered in your chosen field.
So I think through. Success is something that can be seen even if the eyes are closed. It’s something that you would want to find ways to promote its longevity. Real successful people are those who cling on the right perspective even if it means lesser chances to thrive. Successful people are those who wish to bring out a positive change into one’s life. Years may pass but real people will stand out like a vivacious jewel – glowing, bouncy, and lively. This scrutiny will be grasped by me, until I find the right answers at the right time...
